Fall In The Air?

There's a hint of fall in the weather pattern. Even the weather folks are saying First Monday weekend may be cooler than what we've been experiencing. Boy, I hope so! We were up at dark thirty this morning and headed out to Canton by 6:30 am. It was darker than usual at this time as the sun rises are getting longer and the  sets are getting shorter each day. The air was cooler and we drove in fog some of the way particularly the low areas. Arrived at Canton without issues which we are always thankful for. It took longer than normal for our roof mounted satellite dish to find the Direct TV signal (about an hour).

Afterwards we were off to the Dairy Palace for breakfast. As we were leaving this 1947 Ford Deluxe was parked next to our Jeep and what a jewel. While I was taking pictures with my I phone the owner came out and let me set in it. He said it could be mind for a mere $26,500. Everything on it is original equipment and and let me tell you it’s one fine looking antique classic. It looked to be in better condition than our Jeep and probably will last longer. (Click on pictures to enlarge).

image image image image imageSorry I did not get a full view of the car. My Iphone camera is alright but I would have to stand back to far to get a full view picture.

We are set up behind our booth and will set it up starting tomorrow. This is our first fall show and usually they turn out pretty good both in crowds and buyers. Our temps for the next ten days are to be in the low to mid 80’s and our lows in the mid to high 60’s. Time will tell.

Until next time….MtnAire Travlers.

I certainly hope fall arrives soon. It has been so hot here....in the upper 90s! Too hot for the end of September.
