Absolutely A Do Nothing Day

I guess I can blame my laziness on the weather.I awoke this morning a little after 8am. Because of the heavy fog this morning and our cloud cover we saw no sun today. There was so much dampness in the air the ground gave the appearance we had rain last night. I don’t believe our temperature ever reached 50F. The weatherman had predicted a high of 58F and partly sunny day. Never happened.

The Cowboys lost another to continue their December melt down. Lets see now…. how many does that now make for losses in December?? Sandy’s team the Vikings or should I say Brett Favre won their game so she is a happy camper.

Al with the Bayfield Bunch sure had a good read on Kelly and his Coronado cave adventure. The photos were as usual outstanding. I see Jerry with Our Life's on Wheels has challenged and bribed Al with some Cowboy cookies to take the Blue Moon photo for him on December 31st. You might want to jump on over there too for an explanation of a Blue Moon.

  1. Sounds a lot like my day too, Weldon. I did manage to watch a couple of pretty good football games including the Eagles/Giants that just finished. Nothing wrong with a slow day now and then.

  2. I have love too many animals and will not go there again. It is too hard to lose them in the end...I know what you mean about the dreary day! We are in Tyler until Tuesday afternoon.

  3. Thanks for the mention of our blog. We have to bake at least three batches of cowboy cookies this week. Got a friend with a computer problem coming by Wednesday for our "expert" help, and he has begged cookies, Al and Kelly are coming for Christmas and will need cookies, and our neighbor Ken next door helped us string Christmas lights. He'll get a dozen too. I hope there are some left for us!
