Heavy Frost on the Old Pumpkin

Our temperature last night got down to a low of 21F with a wind chill of 14F. There was heavy frost all over everything. With the sun reflection it had the appearance of snow. You could tell this morning was our coldest as the crowd was much later in showing up to shop. The cream (Triamcinolone Acetonide) for my rash finally has caught up with me. Our sister-in-law who picks up our mail when we are gone gave it to one of her co-workers who came to Canton today. So, lets hope I can get some relief from the rash on my arms and chest.

Our high today was 48F and there was a good crowd. The aisles where literately full of people and they were double parking on the lot behind us. I never seen so many people with their dogs. It seems everywhere you looked there was a person that had their dog. About three booths down from us there is a vendor who has pet supplies and she always does well. Yes, people do love their pets. Even though our crowd was good they were just not buying. Everyone around us said their sales were down. Sooo, no black weekend for us.

You just can’t ask for a closer game. Them Longhorns barley escaped the jaws of defeat. What a defensive ballgame.

  1. Texas sure dodged a bullet against Nebraska. I watched the game and like you said, it could not have been any closer! Someone has to turn the heat on down south before we leave at the end of this month. Find that switch, Weldon, and turn it on!

  2. We looked around for that switch Rick talked bout, couldn't find it. 31 degrees at 7:00am. We are expecting severe winds, but they haven't arrived yet. That will wait until we start our Christmas decorating outside!
